After flying to Melbourne, our guide will take us on an informative walk-drive tour of Melbourne City including the beautiful Fitzroy Gardens, Albert Park and the Royal Botanic Garden, finishing up with a fabulous dinner on the Colonial Tramcar Restaurant. Visit the world renowned Melbourne Flower and Garden Show – the largest and most successful horticultural event in the Southern Hemisphere … or you can opt to go on Puffing Billy – one of the finest preserved steam railways in the world. We visit Brown Brothers Winery at Milawa before heading to Albury for The Man From Snowy River Bush Festival, Kincross Woolshed, Adaminaby, Bowral and the International Cricketers Hall of Fame and Bradman Museum. Head home (with a few stops) through Forster and Nambucca Heads.

Day 1 – Tuesday 28 March 2017
Lismore – Gold Coast – Fly to Melbourne
This morning we meet our coach and tour leader at various pick up locations, for transfer to the Gold Coast for our flight to Melbourne. On arrival in Melbourne our coach captain will welcome us aboard for the drive to our city centre Melbourne accommodation.

Day 2 – Wednesday 29 March 2017
After breakfast our local guide will join us on board for an informative walk-drive tour of Melbourne City including the beautiful Fitzroy Gardens, Albert Park and the Royal Botanic Garden. This afternoon you have some free time to relax or enjoy some retail therapy. Late this afternoon we board the Colonial Tramcar Restaurant enjoying a delicious dinner as we travel the tramways of Melbourne.
Day 3 – Thursday 30 March 2017
Melbourne Flower Show
Today we visit the world renowned Melbourne Flower and Garden Show and is regarded as the largest and most successful horticultural event in the Southern Hemisphere. Featuring the best landscape and floral talent that Australia has to offer alongside an extensive array of garden retail products, the Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show is a celebration of Australian lifestyle and our great outdoors.

Puffing Billy is Australia’s favourite steam train and is one of the finest preserved steam railways in the world. This century old steam train is still running on its original 25 kilometre mountain track from Belgrave to Gembrook, through the beautiful forests and fern gullies of the Dandenong Ranges.
Day 4 – Friday 31 March 2017
After brekkie we load the coach and head north to Albury. After lunch we’ll visit Brown Brothers Winery at Milawa for a guided tasting of their wines. Late afternoon we’ll book into our Albury accommodation.

Day 5 – Saturday 1 April 2017
The Man From Snowy River Bush Festival
We head for the bush today. For over twenty years the small town of Corryong has put on an incredible display of horsemanship, bush poetry, art, music and traditions and bush skills, based on Banjos Paterson’s epic poem: The Man From Snowy River. Once the word passed around, people came to watch and experience the Festival and they have been coming ever since. Spend the day enjoying the huge range of entertainment, featuring some of the best live music in the country.
Day 6 – Sunday 2 April 2017
A locally guided tour of Albury-Wodonga is first this morning. Enjoy lunch at the Kincross Woolshed, a taste of country in the heart of the city. This afternoon is free for you to enjoy Albury at your leisure.
Day 7 – Monday 3 April 2017
Albury- Bowral via Adaminaby
After breakfast we depart Albury and travel via Tumbarumba for lunch at Adaminaby, then on to Bowral, our home for the night.

Day 8 – Tuesday 4 April 2017
We have a late start today, firstly with a visit to the International Cricketers Hall of Fame and Bradman Museum. We then depart Bowral for the journey to Forster, home for tonight.
Day 9 – Wednesday 5 April 2017
Today we depart Forster and head for Ricardoes Tomatoes for morning tea and a tour. Then it’s on to Nambucca Heads for a tasty lunch while overlooking the beautiful river. We’ll arrive back in the Northern Rivers late afternoon.
