Acceptance of Terms & Conditions

It is understood by Simes Bros Coaches that the terms and conditions of travel are accepted by the passenger when the required deposit is paid.

Payments, Cancellations and Refunds

A deposit of is required within 7 days of booking to confirm your seat. All balance payments must be received by Simes Bros Coaches within the date specified prior to the tour commencement. Payments may be made by cash, cheque, eftpos, credit card (1.5% surcharge applies) and direct deposit. Simes Bros reserves the right to amend or reschedule the tour due to circumstances outside the company’s control. Simes Bros also reserves the right to cancel this tour due to insufficient numbers and in this instance a substitute date will be offered or a full refund will be made available. Tour price excludes drinks, telephone calls, travel insurance or items of a personal nature.

Cancellation Policy

The following fees apply according to the notice given

  • 60 days or more prior to the commencement of the tour– forfeit deposit
  • 60 days to 14 days prior to the commencement of the tour-50% of total fare to be paid
  • 13 days or less prior to the commencement of the tour – no refund payable

Where a non-refundable ticket is pre-purchased this will be in addition to the cancellation fee. If the tour has already commenced, no refund of fare or unused portion of the tour can be given.

Travel Insurance

We strongly advise passengers to take out travel insurance cover for health, baggage and personal effects, loss of monies through cancellation, additional expenses incurred through illness and early departure from a tour due to unforeseen circumstances.

General Conditions

Seats cannot be reserved on tours. However it is the policy of Simes Bros Coaches that passengers will rotate seats daily. Simes Bros reserves the right to alter itinerary or substitute coaches at any time when circumstances so require, without prior notice.

Simes Bros take no responsibility for lost or misplaced property.

All prices quoted include GST.

Special Diets: We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your dietary request.

Solo Passengers and Single Accommodation

Single Supplement means sole use of a room

Prices quoted in Tour Brochures are on a twin share basis. If your booking is not a twin share booking you must pay the Single Supplement Rate for the Tour, at the time of booking.

If you are a single traveller and wish to share, Simes Bros will make every effort to match you with another single traveller of the same gender and you must pay the Single Supplement Rate at the time of booking. If at any time through the tour you consider your rooming partner unsuitable, we will use reasonable endeavours to arrange single accommodation for the remainder of the tour, subject to availability. In this case, the pre-paid Single Supplement Rate will be used. You acknowledge that if there is no availability of single accommodation for the remainder of the Tour, you will be required to continue to share with your nominated rooming partner for the remainder of the Tour. If you remain matched throughout the entire Tour, you will be refunded the Single Supplement Rate within two weeks of completion of the Tour. Simes Bros accepts no responsibility for the suitability of the allocated rooming partner.

If we, or our staff or service providers are of the view you are negatively affecting your own health, safety or enjoyment or that of other passengers, we can cancel your contract immediately and you must make your own travel arrangements at your own expense.

Although we will use reasonable efforts to operate the tour as close as possible to the itinerary, changes or substitutions may be necessary.

We may refuse to accept your booking if we are of the view that you are unable to fully care for yourself. Unfortunately, we are unable to assist you with walking, dining, getting on and off motorcoaches, or other transportation vehicles, or any of your other personal needs.

We welcome you if you have a disability or other special need, provided you are accompanied by a companion capable of providing all the assistance you require. Please note, that although we will use reasonable endeavours to provide you with all the activities on the itinerary, depending on your disability, you may not be able to participate in every activity and the Tour Escort or Driver will have the right to refuse your participation if the Tour Escort or Driver believes your health and safety or the health and safety of other passengers may be impacted by your participation.

Requests for disabled rooms must be made at the time of booking and are subject to availability.

Wheelchairs and walkers may not be able to be carried in the luggage compartment of motorcoaches subject to space limitations.

Tour participants are entitled to one suitcase per person. Your suitcase must not weigh more than 20kgs.

We will use reasonable endeavours to provide the Tour you have booked in accordance with your Itinerary. However, due to the nature of travel, it may not always be possible for us to adhere strictly to your Itinerary. Where, due to circumstances outside of our control, we are unable to provide the Tour in accordance with your Itinerary, we will use reasonable endeavours to provide or arrange appropriate alternatives.
